Programmeerbare unijunction-transistors (PUT's) zijn een familielid van Silicon Controlled Rectifier (SCR) -apparaten, met een karakteristiek gedrag dat enigszins lijkt op een unidirectionele DIAC met een door de gebruiker configureerbare drempelspanning. Hoewel nuttig voor het creëren van laagfrequente oscillator- en timingfuncties, SCR-triggertoepassingen en andere, hebben alternatieve technieken voor het aanpakken van dergelijke behoeften een grotere populariteit verworven.
